Experienced Ohio Social Security Disability Benefits Lawyer

Put our experience and knowledge to work for you

For those who are disabled and unable to earn a living due to their disability, providing financial support for themselves and their families can be almost impossible. At the law offices of Manring & Farrell, we are committed to helping disabled clients receive the benefits they need to provide for their families.

Our law firm only practices in the area of Social Security. As a firm devoted to practicing in one area, we have gained a great deal of experience, knowledge, and insight into the laws, policies, and procedures governing Social Security disability benefits and Supplemental Security Income. As a small firm with attorneys who know how to work together, our clients receive the full benefit of our combined fifty years of experience, not just the experience of one lawyer.

If your SSD claim or SSI claim is denied, we can keep fighting on your behalf. Many law firms will only represent a client through the first hearing before a judge, and then do not appeal if the claim is denied. In the event of an SSD or SSI denial, clients are left with two choices: Try to find another attorney or drop their case. Nobody should be forced to make that decision. At Manring & Farrell, our attorneys are experienced in handling appeals before all federal courts if your claims is denied. Our attorneys are not afraid to pursue your claim to the highest levels - even the U.S. Supreme Court.

If you have any questions regarding Social Security Disability Insurance, or Supplemental Security Income benefits, contact our experienced attorneys at the law offices of Manring & Farrell for a free initial consultation.

Social Security Disability Insurance (SSD)

Social Security Disability Insurance benefits, or SSD, is simply a disability insurance program. In order to qualify for benefits, you must have serious medical problems or injuries that prevent you from working and you must have paid enough taxes into Social Security to be "insured" in order to be eligible to get Social Security. These taxes are simply an insurance premium that protects you in the event that a disability prevents you from working for at least 12 months in a row. If you have serious medical problems or have a disabling injurycontact our Columbus law offices.

Supplemental Security Income or (SSI)

Supplemental Security Income or SSI is similar to SSD except that it does not require recipients to have been employed to qualify for benefits. The requirements that you be disabled and unable to work are the same as for SSD claims. In addition, in order to qualify for SSI benefits you must not have assets worth more than a certain amount.
